The Club Cricket Conference celebrated our centenary year in 2015 under the presidency of David Collier with a small programme of magnificent events, culminating with a tour to Grenada and Babados in November.
One of the highlights was the CCC Presidents XI versus an ECB XI at the tranquil setting of Arundel Castle at the end of the summer. And Collier, as a former ECB chief executive, rustled up some interesting opposition for this special fixture on 2 September.

The season was launched in memorable style when Baroness Heyhoe Flint hosted a private dinner for CCC players and officials at the House of Lords.
The annual match against the MCC was played at Lords on 20 August, together with a CCC v MCC Womens T20 on the Nursery Ground, plus the usual schedule of games against county academies, county second teams and the British Police.
A strong squad, captained by Dan Yarnley, of Chessington CC, was selected for the Caribbean tour to reflect the expected high standard of opposition. And not surprisingly this two-week trip also attracted strong interest from supporters.
