CCC Representative XI - 153 all out (41.5 overs)
MCC - 92 for 5 (19.4 overs)
Match Abandoned due to rain.
A match that was looking to be very close, was abandoned due to persistent drizzle.
MCC won the toss & bowled, and got the early wickets of Daniel Yarnley & Sam Burge. Efren Cruz & Ahmad Elech (on CCC debut) took the score to 71 before both were out within 1 run. Mark Smith, assisted by Alex Cama and then James Cramp moved the score onto 146, where apon the last 5 wickets fell for 7 runs.
Another CCC debutant, Jamie Thorpe, got an MCC wicket in his first over, and followed with a further 2 to have MCC 31 for 3. An interesting bowling change saw Clayson hit Yarnley's first 4 deliveries for 6, followed by 2 more off Min Patel in consequtive overs. One of those 6's was followed by his wicket, and when Patel took the 5th MCC dismissal, the balance had swung back to CCC. But then it rained.
