CCC beat the full Oman national team by 2 wickets. Oman were all out for 342 from 47.3 overs. CCC replied with 345 for 8 in 46.3 overs.
The match was played in 37 degree heat with strong unrelenting sunshine all day and was the most gruelling and arduous game so far on the tour.
Having been 282 for 4 after 36 overs CCC fought back well to dismiss the home side for 342 in 47.3 overs. All the bowlers demonstrated how they have adapted their game to the conditions and they were well supported in the field. CCC fielding never wilted in the demanding conditions. James Cramp took 2 for 55, Richard Hindley 2 for 56, Scott Kirwin 2 for 65 and Tom Deighton 2 for 73.
In reply CCC posted 345 for 8 in 46.5 overs. Sam Burge again led the way with 110 from 66 balls with 2 x 6's and 16 x 4's. He was well supported by Richard Hindley with 53 from 40 balls and Chris Williams 48 from 46 balls.
Justin Granger came in at number 9 with the innings threatening to stumble at 297 for 7 in the 40th over. Justin blasted 53 from 25 balls and was out with just 3 runs required.
