An away fixture for the Club Cricket Conference. This was a match brightened by the batting of Ahmad Elech, and which suffered from the weather. Efren Cruz started very briskly with three fours. Thereafter Ealing's Ahmad Elech dominated successive partnerships with Farrukh Chodhry, Ravi Panchul and Zashan Arshad, to take the score to 179 for four wickets at the end of the 36th over of this game, which was now restricted to 40 overs per side. Some "interesting running" and inventive shots saw wickets tumble in the last few overs as the score progressed to 203-9.
As a result of a communication breakdown between the host side and the host club the Conference side took the field while awaiting the arrival of tea. Rain however soon again intervened and the game ended rather damply ater only 4.3 overs of the South East Sunday CL eleven's innings.
