Crusaders Australia won by 77 runs
Due to availability problems the CCC started this match without a recognised 5th bowler, and paid dearly for that.
Crusaders captain, Alex Heath, has been in the Australian U-19 team, and has played for Victoria. His 123* was compiled from 106 balls, and he never looked in any trouble. Two useful contributions from Tallan Wright (57) & Chris Read (40*), helped to post a formitable total. Rishi Sharath, & Ravi Panchal were the pick of the CCC bowlers; each only conceding 36 runs from their 9 overs.
The Crusaders tactic of openning with a spinner paid-off, as 16 year old Josh Tong took 3 of the first 4 wickets (4/71). Will Stickler, on CCC debut, top scored with 66, with 3 others getting into the 30's. It was a pity that the CCC could not bat-out the 45 overs.
