Match report:

CCC - 162 all out (44 overs) Darren Ironside 56*
Jersey won by 62 runs
The Jersey batsmen were in no mood for a repeat of their Saturday performance. A steady 3 runs an over rate for the first 11 overs (with only 1 wicket down), was then gradually increased towards 5 runs per over by Watkins, Gallichan, & Jenner. Gallichan was 3rd out in the 39th over with the score at 154, and Jenner stayed until being dismissed in the 49th. Had any of nos. 5 to 7, been able to stay with Jenner, Jersey would have scored more. CCC captain, Jamie Southgate, bowled himself for 9 of the final 18 overs, and rotated his bowlers at the other end. Tahir Kazmi got 2 wkts, as did Ravi Panchal.
CCC were disappointing in their reply. After Southgate was caught behind in the 2nd over, Ballard, Patel, Ramsden, & Burslem, were all caught from poor shots. Had one or two been able to stay with Darren Ironside, an exciting game could have happened.
Jersey were the dominant winners
