His Royal
Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was patron of the Club Cricket
Conference for 68 years until his death on Friday, 9th April. We send our sincere condolences to Her
Majesty the Queen
The Royal
Family have asked that should you wish to make a donation, that it should be made in his name to Charities
where he had influence. We wish to express our own appreciation of the work
done over decades by HRH Prince Philip in our own world of cricket, as well as
during his time at the National Playing Fields Association. This latter role is particularly pertinent
today with so many in recreational cricket playing on park and local authority
pitches.
The Club
Cricket Charity is the official charity partner of the Club Cricket Conference
and the Trustees have opened The Edinburgh Fund, dedicated to the
furtherance of club cricket; sustaining its place in the community; and
campaigning for the maintenance and upkeep of public grounds on which to play
recreational cricket across the country.
All
donations should be made to

Cricket Charity with reference “Edinburgh Fund”
