Your club is invited to enter The Conference Cup for The Bertie Joel Trophy in 2025.

We have scheduled the rounds of this competition to avoid dates clashing with the ECB National Club Championship, and where possible allow a little leeway for bad weather and rearranged games.  

We will also be sympathetic so as to avoid any possible clashes with the National Club T20 competition when that progresses to the League finals and Area finals days. 

The competition remains a 45 over one, and matches are scheduled to be played on these Sundays in 2025 (working backwards):

Final           14 September at Bishop’s Stortford CC 

Semi Finals 10 August

Quarter Finals 20 July

Round of last 16 29 June

Round of last 32 8 June

Round of last 64 18 May

Preliminary Round if needed - tbc

All draws are similar to the FA Cup, hence winners do not know their next opponents, or whether drawn home or away, until the draw for the next round is made. 

 

Should your club wish to enter The Conference Cup for the Bertie Joel Trophy in 2025, then please complete the entry form and return by email to stan.nicholson@club-cricket.co.uk or by post c/o 79 Evergreen Way Hayes, Middx, UB3 2BH, by Monday 27th of January 2025, so that the initial draw can be made during that week.

The competition entry fee will remain at £50 inclusive of VAT

Clubs will be responsible to provide and pay their own qualified umpire for rounds up to the Round of 32

For the Round of 16 and the Quarter Finals, the CCC will appoint umpires, with clubs providing the umpires their fee.

The CCC.will appoint and pay umpires for the Semi Finals, and the Final.

Each side shall provide one ball for each match in all rounds before the semi finals. The ball shall be Grade A.

Each side must provide a scorer for all their matches.

All grounds on which matches are to be played shall be approved by the Conference
