CCC & NACC Ready for Historic Hertfordshire Cricket Celebration

The Club Cricket Conference (CCC) and National Asian Cricket Council (NACC) are proud to be taking part in the Hertfordshire County Cricket Association’s 150 Year Celebration Week, hosted at Hertford Cricket Club from 25–29 May 2026.

This landmark festival of cricket will bring together county, club, youth, veterans and women’s cricket in what promises to be a memorable week celebrating the rich heritage and exciting future of the game across Hertfordshire.

One of the standout occasions of the week will be the Women’s T20 Competition on Friday 29 May, featuring Herts Women, MCC, CCC and NACC representatives. For both the CCC and NACC, participation in this prestigious event is a significant moment and a fantastic opportunity to showcase the continued growth, diversity, and strength of women’s cricket.

The CCC Women’s involvement is especially meaningful, marking the organisation’s first representative women’s fixture since Covid. Players, officials, and supporters are all looking forward to reconnecting, rebuilding team spirit, and once again representing the values and traditions of club cricket on a major stage.

The NACC is equally delighted to be part of the celebrations, highlighting the important role that diversity and inclusion continue to play within the modern game. Participation in the tournament reflects the growing contribution of Asian cricket communities to the wider cricket landscape and the increasing opportunities available within women’s cricket.

Both the CCC and NACC see the week not only as a celebration of 150 years of Hertfordshire cricket, but also as a chance to inspire the next generation of players and strengthen friendships across the cricketing community.

Hertford Cricket Club provides the perfect setting for this special occasion, and everyone involved is eagerly anticipating a week full of competitive cricket, shared memories, and celebration.

As the countdown begins, the message from both the CCC and NACC is clear: they are honoured to be part of this historic event and cannot wait to take the field once again.
