The Club Cricket Conference, in association with Kingfisher Beer, is looking for the best two young spinners in club cricket to send to the Global Cricket School in Pune, India for an intensive week’s spin scholarship in February next year.
If you meet the conditions below and fancy yourself against the most promising spin talent in the country, then send your cricketing CV to gulfraz.riaz@club-cricket.co.uk and you could find yourself at either Edgbaston on October 6 or Lord’s on October 13. The two lucky winners of this opportunity of a lifetime will be selected by former Kent and England spinner Min Patel, with assistance from former England and Middlesex spinner John Emburey at Edgbaston, and former Surrey spinner Keith Medlycott at Lord’s.
Conditions
Entrants must be UK residents aged 18-21
Entrants must not have any link to any first-class county
Entrants must be available on either October 6 for a trial at Edgbaston or October 13 for a trial at Lord’s
Entrants must be prepared to travel to India for 7 days in Feb 2014
Entrants must register for the trials by September 20
