Smile are delighted to announce an opportunity for aspiring young cricketers to attend a Training Camp to be held in Barbados, in March 2015. It will be run alongside the annual Pre Season Camp for First Class Counties Hampshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire. 

The camp will be run by ex-West Indies legends Gordon Greenidge and Franklyn Stephenson, as well as senior First Class coaches. There will also be a number of specially arranged guest MasterClasses from greats of the game. 

Training will consist of group drills, as well as specialist coaching – Batting, Spin/Pace Bowling, Fielding, WicketKeeping – depending on the individual’s requirements. There will be 2 fixtures against a Barbados Select XI and University of the West Indies. 

Outside of cricket, players will have Strength & Conditioning sessions with a County coach, a seminar on Nutrition and the use of a qualified Physiotherapist when required. Players will also be able to attend a Welcome Reception, and an End of Tour Presentation – where they can mix and socialise with the County players and Cricket Legends.  Find out more.
