The National Cricket Conference supported by the ECB has launched the Find a Fixture and Find a Ground service.
The National Cricket Conference was established a year ago as a partnership between the Club Cricket Conference, Midlands Club Cricket Conference and the League Cricket Conference, that now is actively working in support of the recreational game across the country.
The Find a Fixture service will assist teams in arranging fixtures, posting a team’s desire to have a fixture as well as a club looking to fulfil a fixture.
The Find a Ground service will provide clubs who have their own facilities the ability to post their ground(s) availability on the Find a Ground service to allow teams to search for available grounds to host a fixture, hiring a clubs facilities. This function will provide clubs with an income stream through increased facility hire and possible new playing members.
The Find a Fixture & Find Ground functionality is now available through your Club Play-Cricket.com site or a via the National Cricket Conference service help line 02089731830.
If you do not have a Play-Cricket site please e-mail play.cricket@ecb.co.uk to claim your FREE club site. This will enable you to access the services and utilise the functionalities within Play-Cricket.com.
To access the services through Play-Cricket, simply log on to your Play-Cricket.com site using your administrator user name and password and follow the steps below:
- Click on your user name and then site administration – top right hand side of the page.
- Within the menu bar on the left hand side please select 'Find A'
- A drop down menu will appear, please select the appropriate service (Fixture or Ground) you require.
A user guide for each function is also available and can be found in the 'Help Guides' section of your site and are also available below.
A telephone service, administrated by the National Cricket Conference will also be available offering support on 020 8973 1830.
Existing members of Club Cricket Conference can access the fixture bureau by the usual means via the CCC website and the Emergency Fixture Bureau telephone line.
