Former England test player Keith Fletcher made the draw for the Home teams during the day one lunch interval of the Essex CCC 2nd XI match v the Club Cricket Conference, at Billericay CC today.

For Match 1, he pulled-out Essex leaders, Wanstead, and CCC President, David Perrin, drew Middlesex leaders, Ealing, to visit them. A real 'clash of the titans' cup draw.  Holding the draw bag was Essex CCC Academy Director, Barry Hyam.

The draw in full is (Home team first):

1. Wanstead v Ealing
2. Sunbury v Aston Rowant or Waltham (Aston Rowant to play Waltham on Sunday 16 July)
3. Cambridge Granta v Finchley
4. West indies United v Bexley

Matches to be played on or before Sunday 30 July.

The 'up-set' of Round 3 matches played on Sunday 9 July was Bexley's defeat of Reigate Priory, who hold The Conference Cup, when last played for in 2014. The 2016 Bertie Joel winners, West Indies United chased-down Chingford's 235, with 8 overs spare.
